PLAT DU JOUR
78.5 x 53 cm, paper, coffee, soy sauce, wine, vinegar, oil, fruit juice, beet, spirulina, Indian ink..., 2007
By allowing food stains to diffuse organically across the paper, I transform and extend them through drawing with pencil and Indian ink. Dots converge into lines, and lines intertwine to form complex networks. Situated between cellular structures and electronic circuits, these compositions generate a rhythmic ebb and flow in which organic and technological systems intersect. From this dynamic exchange emerges a subtle emotional energy and a web of living connections.
